While we firmly believe that chronic wounds cannot be evaluated via telehealth for multiple reasons (cannot feel and smell the wound being part of it), I do believe that telehealth can assist in guiding the patient in the right direction.

Some wounds do not require a wound specialist and can be handled by the patient. Other wounds may require testing first. When people have no insurance, limited resources, and/or time it may be of use to speak to a wound care specialist and receive guidance on the situation before making an appointment.

Go to Getting-Well.com and request an appointment online. We usually respond within 12-24hrs – even on the weekend.

This service costs $30 and cannot be billed to the insurance. It is intended as guidance only.
