Mist Ultrasound Treatment

Mist Ultrasound is a painless modality that can be implemented in the treatment of chronic and acute wounds. Studies have shown that using this treatment can decrease pain, inflammation, bacterial load, and at the same time promote healing.

Getting Well has added Mist Ultrasound treatment in the therapy regimen of our patients. Our protocol is to treat the wounds three times per week for 6 weeks (if needed). What we find is a reduction in pain for most of our patients, as well as an increase in healing rate.

This modality is currently paid for by Medicare and Medicare Advantage plans only. Self pay is another option.
